JEAN CLAUDE HERME

A serious and talented art student at the University of Paris, Jean Claude Hermé is not afraid to explore different genres of abstractions.

Working with pallet knives and brushes, he builds layers of texture creating a subtle blending of color and light.  This sensibility of abstraction, by obscuring form in an overlay of mist with light bleeding through, lets the viewer’s imagination take charge.

Recently he also became fascinated with geometric abstraction, with undertones of cubism and surrealism.
